I had to create some authors for my covers. I wasn’t happy enough with just using one random generated name for all of them, so I ended up creating some fictional authors. Below I describe anything I find relevant about the writing of the authors I created so far.
Erich D. Hummel
Writes horror. A lot of his stories revolve around animals, mostly domestic ones. They rarely have happy endings. His covers often contain photographs.
Denise Traverse
Writes young adult fiction. Her novels talk about human feelings, are often full of mysteries, and some contain fantastic elements. I am likely use a mix of digital and non digital methods for her covers.
River Hallman
Writes science fiction and fantasy mysteries. His books are always filled with mind-bending puzzles, a defining element of his style. His covers are mostly completely digital, with all the non-text elements made by myself.
NOTE: I may not always follow what’s described above. If I feel it’s necessary to create a book cover in a genre different from the one an author writes in, or that I should use an author’s cover style for another one, I will do so.
